How to find MEP
Read ALL of the simple steps below to retrieve your BlackBerry MEP
-On the BlackBerry home screen type: ALT+Shift+H (For the 8100/9100, press ALT + R + A + C + E)
-You will come to the "Help Me!" screen (DO NOT EXIT THE SCREEN)
-Fill in the info shown on the phone into the calculator above (Device PIN, App Version, Uptime, Key Duration - select 1 day)
-The key will automatically populate
-Type this key CAREFULLY into the phone (you will not be able to see what you're typing onscreen). Remember to press the ALT key for numbers.
-As soon as you've entered all 8 characters of the code you will see the 'Engineering Screen Contents' menu
-Scroll down to 'OS Engineering Screens' and select it
-Scroll to 'Device Info' and select it
-Scroll to the bottom and you will see the phone's MEP info (NOTE: If we've asked you to provide this, provide it a format like "MEP-06041-011")
-Select your MEP from the drop down list on the Order by MEP page.
